Magi-Nation. The hilarity, combined with a good plot, makes a smooth concoction too irrestible to resist.

God, I dunno that's a hard one. I love all my games. I think though, my favorite is one that most people hate. Final Fantasy 4. Some people call it FF2, because that was the old release of it, but so we all know, it's actually 4. It's got to be the best one made in the series, and I own all of them but 11 so I can say this.
Also, I like that it's oldschool graphics. Why? the story had to be good! Now, you can throw some flashy bangs, a few cool VAs in, and have a game. No! No! No! Good games from the day were made based on their story and gameplay (trust me it had good gameplay to be an oldschool game). Also their musical composition, and no one can deny that the FF series has had some of the best composers ever.
I think that's enough for now....

Tyual, should I give your cane back now?
But while we're on the subject of Final Fantasy, I liked 8, for a variety of reasons. It was my first one. It had a good story. It had excellent music.

My cane?
8 was awesome. My first too. Actually look in my last post to see a mistake that I didn't fix. I said "one that not many people liked" or something. I was referring to 8, but then I remembered 4 and changed it, but didn't change the first sentance, lol! 8 was my first Final Fantasy, and easily one of my favorites.

Devil May Cry ... the first one. The sequels have all been rather flat in comparison. The only problem is that the game's too short. You can start and finish in a day if you really want to.

DMC is an awesome game. Personally, I was addicted to the guns, which hurt me late in the game. =\ If you finish it in a day then my hat's off to you. I die to the stupid bosses too much for that. (anything else is not too bad, the bosses absolutely tick me off).
I made a Dante signature the other day, it's posted up on my deviantart. It's not that great but *shrug*
DMC 3 is really good for gameplay value and control of Dante. Dunno about the second one so much though. The first one is excellent for story and control as well. I still need to finish DMC 3.....(Actually, I need to be worth a crap at getting orbs so I could afford some power ups so that I'm not going in with a teeny tiny health bar that is eliminated in 3 hits.)

DMC 2 is total crap. The game control is horrible. The storyline is kinda sucky too. Definitely not up the the standard of the first. I've not played 4(which is technically a prequel), but I'm not too sure I like the whole choosing your style thing that it has going on.
My new latest game that i've been stuck on is Fifa Street 2. It's actually pretty cool as far as the EA Street series is concerned. I really like NFL and NBA Street, and so far Fifa's been up to the standard. I've only played it for a couple hours, but the gameplay's good and it's challenging enough that I won't finish it in a day ... will let you know how I feel about KH II next week ...

KH II is a good continuation.
Not much on sport games other than racing ones. Otherwise, I'd rather go play them or watch them in person. Besides, the computer always cheats on those games.
DMC3 (It's 3, there is no 4 yet that I'm aware of.) is pretty good. The choosing your style thing doesn't affect much of jack**** honestly.
And 3 is a prequel. It happens right as he's just opened up his shop (where the first game starts.) as a new business. He gets attacked by a bunch of critters sent by Virgil (His twin brother remember. But before he went all black knight looking.) It's been good so far. IWish I had it here in TN to play....

Thanks for the DMC 3 info Ty ... and 4's suppose to be coming out sometime. They were previewing it at E3 this year. Knew I heard about it somewhere.
Anyway, KH II isn't too bad. A little heavy on the story and not as much on the gameplay as you're going through the levels originally, but I like how they've tied in the GBA game parts of it so that people like me who didn't get Chain of Memories know what's going on. I've only gotten past Port Royal right now, but I like it so far.

I like it myself, but I wbtish they'd left the GBA part out completely. Like not been related to it. Because those of us who didn't play it aren't too sure what's going on. Even later in the game it doesn't get much better about explaining it, just the basics of it, not the story, just about the organization and stuff....I agree, the cinemas were overdone, could've put more time into the gameplay.
DMC4....Heh I should finish beating 3 I guess....I'm a slacker...I still have to beat Battlefield (single player), Ace Combat 5, DMC3, and Xenosaga Episode II....

Chain of Memories actually came about because they wanted to tell the story of what happens in the middle of KH and KH II. I refuse to get it though because it plays like a Yu-Gi-Oh game for the most part. As far as I know, they don't really fill in any details that aren't told in the second game. From what I read, CoM was sub par on all accounts

Glad I didn't get it...
And on the favorite video games note: All time favorite is still FF4, and probably always will be, but I must say that Ace Combat 5 is my current favorite. I love that game. Great gameplay, great story, great everything. It pwns you. Kei Nagase pwns me. lol.
