Here is where all the contests can be discussed. Anything about them can be discussed here.

You say "create a signature." So does that mean you can't enter one you have already made? Or does it have to be brand new for this contest? Also I am guessing you can only enter one siggy. You can only make one signature, and you can enter one that you've never entered in a contest before I'm going to make a contest discussion so that way these threads are cleared only for entries.

Mistress, just to be clear: Staff can't enter the contests as I recall, right?

I don't see why not ... I'm not because I'm helping judge ... but I would think it's okay for the mods to enter.

Is there a limit to entries/posting/etc?

its one sig per competition Peg so make it a good one lol, Im gunna work on the basis that Mods can enter for now aslong as u are judging, cos if not at the mo were not gunna get many entries?

That's true for the time being, Moog.
Actually I was thinking all the Mods had to help judge and that's why we couldn't. At least I was thinking Mistress told me that one day. I was also on the couch about half passed out and feeling like crap that day so who knows.

*Wishes Mistress would get her butt over here and sort this out*
For the time being ... I think we had talked about several people judging and being able to vote for entries as long as they weren't yours or one of your group members ... but I can't remember and I may be getting my forums confused. Anyway, since it's pretty much staff around here so far, it would certainly be more interesting if mods could join. Personally, I'd like to see what ya'll come up with and I may even whip up a few entries myself (which wouldn't count toward anything of course).
So, yes, as the 2nd in command around here, I'm saying go for it. I'll let you know if things change.

Alrighty then =P
I might pull out some of my works from the past day or two and throw in the lot since we can enter. For now, with mostly Mods being active anyways, I think it'll be okay, if we get a lot of memebers, then I think we'd be best to fade into the background and judge....Well me at least...

Okay, I know that this isn't going to sound fair. But, I need a new contest based system before I actually do these contests. So, I'm deleting all the current contests. If you need to keep links to certain things then please go save them. But, I'm locking all the contests up for the time being. I need to get with Wile and see what we can both come up with. As they stand they are not working.
All staff will be able to enter contests excluding myself, Ayashe, Wile, and Elmo. Even if I let all the members vote on who should win what the final answer would still come from the staff. But, I don't see why we can't have a members vote. You wouldn't be able to vote for your own though.

Thanks guys. It's actually quite hard to get a decent story, told in full (?), in just 100 words. Even so, I quite enjoyed the challenge and, seeing as it gave Ty a giggle, I managed to get it right it seems. ;D *wants to know if Lisi's eyes lit up at the thought of some Romance on IT*

lol, Seffy. I thought it was very clever. As a fellow writer, I thought your word choice was excellent through and through and you built some excellent suspense to go with the witty line at the end.
That said, it'd be nice to see some more contest entries all around. And, if anyone from Pegasus is around, you might want to help yourselves out 'cause thus far few of you have entered. Remember, participation counts!

hahaha... yes of course i was delighted at seeing some romance on IT. I love love love it!
And good job getting it all into 100 words. I had to do this contest once on another site, and it was a chhaaalleenggee.

Thanks Moog. I was having a hard time with the right image, so I played with it a lot. I ended up putting a crosshatch on it, and a lot of brightness/contrast work to make it stand out so much. Because the quality of that stock was so-so and it was the best I had....

Congrats to G (hadn't seen it when I was in here last night.)
And nice art entry moog. Seff, I like yours but question the typesetting a bit. Wile, love it, but purple and Barbosa? Interesting....G, nice.
Hm, I think that's all.
