Okay so we all see the pretty picture to our Left, and the fancy banners at the bottom of each post right? Most of us probably know what they are.For those who don't: The small one to the left of a post is an avatar, and the banners at the bottom are called signatures.
So I've noticed that several of our members here are talented with making these, and thought they might like to share their work?
Maybe we could even bribe them into taking requests so that they challenge themselves. =P
Personally, one day I'll stop being a slacker and take my desktop publishing skills and put them to use on the avatar/signature field. I just haven't done it yet.
*Shrug* I think this thread could be interesting, if people participate. Sadly, I don't have artwork of my own or I'd start it out.
You can thank the concept because I've been hunting down signatures today for the series Bleach. So you'll probably see me switching in and out some of the collection I made from time to time =)
This message brought to you by the AEM. (Association of Evil Muffins.) Thank you for you time.

Like Moog, I made my avatar and banner in my sig. I'll take requests for a variety of topics as long as you tell me what you want. I'm flexible ... I especially enjoy doing sports ones so if you want a specific sport or team, let me know and I'll gladly fix you up with one.

*points to signature*
I made that. I'd say its the best one I have made in a long time...if ever. I also made my avi, but that didn't take much. Just crop and resize...lol

So you guys know: I edited post to change it from "avvy" "avvie" and "siggy" to avatar and signature. Those abbreviations drive me up the wall. Ask Mistress, I jump her case everytime she says them, lol.
Err also editing to add this:
I've taken up the hobby myself. Decided that I'd put my desktop publishing skills to use and thus make them better. The Rukia signature I'm currently using is one I made the other day.
Like Wile, I'll take requests if you want, not promising anything, except my best effor though. If you have anything special you want, then please note it. (Text, colors, if you want a specific stock image used, link to it, specific size, things of that sort.)
I suppose I should start dealing with Avatars though, as it stands now I've only been doing Signatures.
To note: on this site, avatars can be up to 200x200. Mistress and I checked it the other day to make sure. Not sure about signature sizes. My standard is a 450x115. Mistress uses a standard 500x100. I think max is like 500x200?

Ask Mistress, I jump her case everytime she says them, lol. For real? Ok dude, I'll try and remember that. Is it all abbreviations or just those two? Like what about "pics" for pictures or "ep" for episode etc etc..

No, it's generally things that end in the ie/y sound. Piccy, Avvy, siggy, eppy, something like that. Ava. Sig. Ep, etc. don't bother me at all. Although I may ask what acronyms are from time to time because I generally type things out and so I may not be sure, lol.
Appreciate you though, Aurora!
