Well, um, I really hate introducing myself. I'm Zaithat, well not really, but you can call me that. I'm an Anthropology major torn between digging old people up or digging up their stuff that goes to Texas A&M University (think near Houston).
I really like listening to musicals (Sondheim is my favorite) and other music (alternative is a current fav of mine). However, I really like to write stories, since I'm usually stuck in one most of the time. I also like to read just about anything, though I'm not a huge fan of romance.
I tend to be cynical realistic about things. I'm also rather shy and timid, but, as Elmo can tell you, I will eventually start talking.
But, yeah, that's me for the most part. Feel free to talk to me on AIM because, I'm usually bored out of my mind whenever I'm on the computer.

Welcome to the site, Zaithait!!! We're extremely happy to have you, and it's nice to know that Elmo isn't going to scare you off. Perhaps you two could start a contest to see who is more random?
Anyway, it really is nice to have someone around the site. I think we're all a little stir crazy at the moment because it's just been for so long. New faces are fantastic. . .
So, yes, please, feel free to post around the site and start things, make suggestions etc. Feedback is more than welcome.
And, most of all, have fun while you're here!
Cheers, ~Wile

Awesomeness about Texas A&M University and your major!!!!!!!
I think it's great!!!!!
Do you know where Sam Houston State University Is in Huntsville Texas? Well, mom used to teach there so I was able to wander around that college a lot and remember it so well. Then I had to move from Texas, so now I'm used to my state's colleges that I'm in now. Grrrr. lol

Then you must be really random, Zaithat, since Elmo's so random herself.

Elmo calling someone random is the pot calling the kettle black. That's just my two cents on it...
Welcome! since I haven't said it yet and what not....

1. Which historical figure do you like the most and why? 2. If you only had one book to read for the rest of your life, which book would it be and why? 3. If you could be any character from a TV show which one would it be and why?

These are different from the others you gave me. Why?
1. Which historical figure do you like the most and why?
Um, I don't really know, but I do really like Pope John Paul II. I'm Catholic, and I've really noticed all the things he's done for us, especially making things better for the youth (though I'm really sure that I'm not saying that correctly). I also got to see him in Rome several years ago, and my parents sang at the last mass he conducted. But besides that, I really like the way he helped the church do things for everyone.
2. If you only had one book to read for the rest of your life, which book would it be and why?
I so cannot answer because I would die if I couldn't read different books. Though, I suppose, if I had to pick, I would pick the His Dark Materials series, and I'm sure I could get it in one book. I really enjoyed that series (despite the fact it took about three years to finish it), and I'm sure that everytime I re-read it I would notice something new.
3. If you could be any character from a TV show which one would it be and why?
Temperance Brennan from Bones. Because, she is what I want to do with my life. One of my possible career choices (and there are several) is to become a forensic anthropologist. Plus, I want to be a fictional writer. And her personality is so me. But besides that, she's just an interesting character in general.

Zaithat, different questions for a different site ... plus I like making ya'll think.
Great answers by the way. JP II was a really good leader for the Catholic Church and for Christianity in general. He persevered through a lot and did a lot in his time. I rather liked him.
