Kinda more Hip Hop.
But anyways. While i generally listen to alternative.. and I am no where near a gangster.. there are a few rap and hip hop songs that have me dancing to myself in my room.
ONE being Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado. It happens to be amazing. I seriously... will just get up and dace.. I mean, not in public in public i just do that little, in your chair dance. But seriously. So good. The chorus makes me so happy, it just is so... DANCEABLE TO. I cant wait till im 18 and can go to clubs, or until i find someone to head down to LA with me and go to a 18 and under club.
AH! its funny cuz, MOST of the time Im not a club/rap/gangsta gangsta person. But i have my moments, and Promiscuous definitly brings it out.
You should most definitly check the song out!

1 rapper, to pwn them all. Ludacris!!
Dude's the best rapper out there, in my opinion. I just like his flow, and comedy. He's pretty funny and has the voice to fit it.
Um alternatively, I like Lil' Flip, Chamillionaire, and Lil' Jon. I listen to rap as part of popular culture when I'm dealing with other people, even though I don't personally care for it and you won't find it on my playlist.

Teehee, as i said, you will definitly find promiscuous on there! But not much else. I have Yeah! and a few others on my Ipod under
Hip playlist
I love to dance to that. I like Snoop Dogs voice. But yah, i cant really listen to much. I was listening to Eminem the other day and the lyrics, well they were hard to listen to. I tried to seperate myself from the song but after a while i couldn't take how offensively he talked about women.
But definitly. LOVE to dance to hip hop songs! Tho i checked it out in the mirror, and it just so happens that Im terrible at it.
Oh well.

rap is the best for modern styles of dancing, hands down. Although I'm not much of a dancer. i do from time to time, but it's not my favorite thing, lol.

The cute guy from my CC class that talks with me after class in front of the cafe.... was laughing at me the other day because i was dancing and singing to promiscuous girl in my seat. I proceeded to blush and then to continue singing and dancing.
I also like Ms. New Booty, but thats only because some guys from my class made a music video to it of them trying to dance. And it was so funny... my goodness i will never forget it!!

I don't do most of the secular stuff, but I love Christian Rap/Hip Hop. Toby Mac being the king! XD I listen to some secular hip hop, my favorite being that song SOS, followed closely by My Hips Don't Lie. (I think those count as hip hop :? XD)

I think that counts as pop, the one by Shakira right?
I like the video just because I like staring at her. She's frickin' sexy as it gets.
I don't listen to to a lot of Christian music...I get enough of it in church. Some of it is good, but it's not my style generally. I perfer Rock overall...especially hard rock/ metal
Oh I forgot to mention that I used to write free styles =)
On an old forum, 3 or 4 years or so ago, when I lived with my mom in TN full time, there were seveal of us there who had free style battles. We'd write these freestyles at eachother. It was a lot of fun and really expanded me with my ability to use my vocabulary in different ways. Word manipulation!
