I didn't ever really listen to classical.. but then I saw the movie A Clockwork Orange.. and after that I became a fan of Beethoven and listen to him every once and a while.
I recently started to appreciate it though. I think it captures the ebs and flows of emotion better than any other genre, i really do. Does anyone out there have a peice that they think is amazing and want to reccomend?

I don't go out of my way to listen to it, but I do like classical when I hear it. I've heard some, and most of it I find that I like. It brings the elemnts of the different instruments out, rather than focusing on singing or one particular instrument. (Such as guitar heavy bands, or drum heavy bands.)

There are a lot of pieces out there that are worth a mention. But undoubtedly one of the best has to be Holst's The planets, especially Mars. Absolutely brilliant. Another is, I think it's called, Thus Spake Zarathustra. You might know it as the theme music to the movie 2001 A Space Odyssey.

I will definitly check those out.
But oh goodness, Im not sure I will look into the Space Oddessey one. I watched that movie, and while i found the idea of HAL and all that amazing.. there was that ending sequence that I still get shivers thinking about. The whole thing left me a bit freaked out.
But thanks, Ill be open to suggestions anytime, and ill let you know what i think if i get a chance to check those songs out.
