Saw The Lake House today. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves are in it. Really good movie. The basic plot of the movie is, these two people fall in love, but their living two years apart. Now time travel just gives me a headache when I try and work it all out. There were a few things that didn't line up for me, but I took it for what it was and it was a good movie.

Indeed. It's a cute romantic movie. I got a free screening pass prior to the release. I'd recommend it to any romantic movie goers out there. ;D
Some good romance movies: Sleepless in Seattle You've Got Mail While You Were Sleeping City of Angels A Walk to Remember

Don't feel bad. I listed the ones I thought were the best from the genre.

OMG! While You Were Sleeping is one of my all-time faves ever! I love Sandra Bullock in that film. It's so fantastic! And I know that Bill Pullman hates playing those guy next door types in films, but Jack's just adorable.

Let me say Right here Right now... I am a romance junkie. There is nothing that i like more than romance... I will watch Disney movies so i can fast forward to the romantic parts and go "awww so cute". Seriously.. its like an adiction.
Now, dont get me wrong, Im not really into chick flicks persay. But my goodness. I am such the hopeless romantic.. its really almost terrible. Every type of romance in any movie anywhere.. is amazing.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to some really good romance movies?
And then.. cuz i just thought of it. The Notebook. That romance is sooooooooo ooooo ooooo amazing. My stomach got all fluttery at the part in the rain. My goodness. So good. So romantic. Ryan Gosling + Rachel McAdams... enought to make me into a babbling teenage girl...
oops, too late for that one.
But anyways. if anyone wants to talk about romantic stories of anykind.. i am alllways up for the discusion!

Romeo and Juliet. Which version(s)? And Ever After. Good movie. Drew Barrymore surprised me a bit. It was an interesting mix of drama and comedy that was weaved inbetween the romance. I like it.

God no. There is an old one, I don't know the actors, I watched it for school. It's old, VHS cassett style, like made before I was born. It's the best and owns what that Decaprio brat could do anyday. (I've seen that version too. It's not as good.)
Ever After is a pretty good show. I love where she outsmarts the gypsie =) Funny stuff, funny stuff.
I watched a movie called Bounce not too long ago that was somewhat of a romance with Ben Affleck and Gweneth(sp) Paltrow(sp). It was pretty good too.

LOL. I was starting to like your opinions when I started reading your post about the older versions of Romeo and Juliet. And the "you can take what you can carry" gypsy scene in Ever After. However... Then you had to go bring up Bounce. Why Ty? Why? lol

Sorry. I didn't even see all of the movie. It was kinda messed up, but I found it amusing to a degree...maybe my sense of humor is off....

I just saw the movie Dust Factory. It was a PG movie.. filled with sacrine sweetness and pre teen angst... but i loved it. I absolutely adored it. Some of the messages were really ageless and the romance was lovely. Plus i love the two kid actors who played the main parts. It just goes to show, you can enjoy a movie meant for one age, at any age!
