My hands hurt from folding boxes and taping them the last two days. That, and they're starting to get raw. Talk to me in a month and I'll tell you all about my callouses. So, anyway, have been switched to a different job site and 1st shift. It's nice 'cause I get my evenings back, but I gotta get up at 6 am in order to go with Pops since he works in the same general area. So, that's at least nice. We can carpool to work.
Um, let's see. I won't be on over the weekend, probably not 'til monday. should be on Friday night a bit, but otherwise I'll be gone 'til sometime Monday.
Nothing really new otherwise. Got a few new contests posted, so check those out. I'm trying to come up with ideas for art contests, so PM me if you've got anything. I'd like to have two small ones and a big one each month (so, like 2 banner/avatar contests and a wallpaper).
Right, that's all for me. laters.

I dunno, but considering it's the 4th, and you put the deadline for the 16th...That's a week and a half? That's kinda short time wise. Maybe extend it out to the 18th, or 19th. That'd give us about 14 or 15 days, so approx. half a month. So if they're graded quickly and the next ones are announced, you could still fit 2 in this month. Or even just announced even if the first set isn't graded yet, lol.
Well, I'm better today than I was yesterday to say the least. I was right, yesterday sucked as the first day in full pads practice. (I wish I could weigh them sometime to see how much weight they add to you, but I'm gonna say its a good 20 pounds. Seriously. About 10 for the shoulderpads, and i'd say about 10 between everything else too.)
So yesterday I just like...slept....I tried to stay up and talk to people for a bit last night, but I was so tired I couldn't =( That sucked.
Butttt today I feel much much better for whatever reason. The sprints weren't even that hard. I mean, running 20 sprints like back to back is hard especially when they total 800 yards, but it's getting a lot easier. Maybe my body's just getting used to working out again. I'm still pretty sore, but I don't wanna cry when I try to move now.
My bruises are starting to show up now too, lol! I have a huge one on my shoulder and I'm not sure if it bruised through my pads because of the hits or if it's from Wednesday when I got hit with a helmet there....It'll be funny when we go to school because all these tiny, petite girls will -always- ask us what happened. Usually I get asked "What happened to your arms?!" or "Did you get in a fight?" lol. I don't know why, but I always think it's funny. Guess I'm strange....
I think a lot of why I feel better is because I've eaten some food finally. I hadn't been eating much the first few days of practice, figuring that I'd see it twice, and because I thought if I ate at all it'd make me sick with as bad as I already felt. So last night I found my appetite again and devoured a good bit of food. I figure having nutrition in my body again helped a lot.
Overall, having a good day so far. I still have an afternoon practice to go through, but they're usually easier and it's the last one before I get a weekend off! Cheers for that.
Wile, I get callouses real bad from lifting weights in off season and usually on my feet from my cleats during season. So I know how they are. I appreciate them though, because where it was going raw and hurting before, it doesn't with the callous there.
Yeah, even though I feel better, I'm still tired, and thus I'm rambling so I'm gonna stop now. You have my day thus far.

Excited, nervous, content, amused, worried, psyched, giddy, apathetic, tired, happy, aprehensive, pleased, a tad stressed, and feelin' a little bittersweet all around. Yes, that's how I feel just at the beginning of the day. On a good note (at least for sg fans): I'm feeling more compelled to write up a semi-con report than do anything else. Go figure. ;D

Alright, i've been really tired. Football has kept me exhausted, especially since school started too. been busy with homework, football, sleep, school. lol. all i have time for really =(
So today, well >.< we had to run a mile, which sucked. We weren't supposed to walk any of it, but I had to a little. I'd say I walked maybe 100 yards out of the some odd 1700+ a mile is though. so not too bad. I am -not- a runner at all. Infact, I hate running.
Anyhow, as a result, I was tired, came home, took a nice nap. tomorrow should be easier though, since we'll be doing our normal sprints, which aren't near as bad as that frickin mile was.
School's not too bad, I'm dropping my networking class because the teacher and I won't get along. He's gonna keep talking down to us like dirt and I'm gonna snap on him and show him he's not as big as he thinks he is, so the best thing I can do is just get out of that class now. Um, AP US History is going to be my hardest class I think, but I must admit I'm learning some things in there. Which is rare that I actually learn/give a flip about it. lol.
Guess that's all I have to say really....

Well glad to have you back with us Wile. I've been busy with school and football lately. I mean some days I don't get home until 7 to 7:30 so....
Overall I guess I've been pretty good, although in a heavy sleep defecit. I try to make up for it on the weekends....Allergies have been bugging me, but it's harvest season, that's to be expected...
Hmm...I guess that's it really, not a lot goes on in my life since school and football are in now, lol. They are my life =(

Wish I could sleep in ... I've been getting up at 6:30 everyday regardless because I got so used to it w/having to be to work by 7:30. The last few days I can't seem to stay in bed after 7 ... quite frankly, it sucks.
Good luck w/football this year, Ty.

thanks. we got screwed on our first game, we lost 18-13, but the officials sucked bad. they called....5? pass interference calls that were all bad, a holding call that was bad, and didn't call anything on the other team. Without all that crap, we'd have won I believe.
Next week should go better, we play at home.
I had to get up around 7 today, and had football practice from 730 til 1030, then had a birthday party for my little cousins like right after i got home, did that all afternoon, so now I'm doing homeworking, checking the net, and drinking some Wild Turkey and cocacola.

Crappy officials officially suck ... I remember my varsity softball days ... geez we had some horrible umps. They totally take all the fun out of it when they screw your team over (one city in particular always told us to go back to Minnesota and it wasn't our fault we got stuck in a Wisconsin conference).
Anyway, I start classes at 2 today and go 'til 9. I hate night classes, but at least I only have the one this semester. It's Intermediate Story Writing, so it should be okay, just kind of long some days. And, of course, seeing as it's only once a week, we'll have a full 3 hours of class tonight. Grumble ...
not much else new here.

I kind of like night classes. The only thing I don't like about night classes is that after class I have to go home in the dark. :s lol... but its all good. I like night time. Its the commute thats killer if I take public transit. No worries, I only have one night class. So how am I doing today? Today was meh. I've schooly screwed myself... procrastinated again and can't freakin' find some paperwork that I need to complete other paperwork for graduation. :s I should be more stressed, but I'm not. Is that a bad thing? *sigh* I'll have to finish the paperwork tomorrow. HAVE TO... dang it. Don't you wish hindsight was foresight?

Day's been so-so, nothing really bad has happened. Which is a good thing. However the immature fools I'm surrounded by have been acting like they're 3 years old all day and have royally pissed me off, which is a bad thing.
Otherwise, I'm doing just fine.

Our homecoming was last week. We lost =( and right after the game we found out a girl from a nearby town and a girl i go to school with had a wreck. the out of town girl died, and the girl i go to school with is okay, but is being charged with Manslaughter I believe...Otherwise, it was a really fun time.
WE WON OUR GAME LAST NIGHT!!! Wooo!!!! And it was the other team's homecoming. =D Score was 22 to 21. We were merking them first half, then 2nd half we played like crap and let them catch up some, but when it mattered we buckled down and stopped them.

Well, since I was on earlier, I've talked to a friend of mine that I don't get to talk to a lot anymore, almost finished The Iliad, and went to town. I go to town, and they're planning this big fight and I get dragged into being set up so that I was going to go with them, (which I knew it wouldn't ever happen which is why I even agreed.) but then they were bickering about where to meet and so it never went down, a friend and I went to see about a fire that happened while we were in town, then I came home.
In a way, I almost wish the fight had gone down though, for some reason a good fight just seems pretty nice lately......

i'm doing rather well despite the fact I have a lot to get done between now and Saturday in order to actually take my mental health day on Sunday.
Ooh, pretty snow flying out my window ...
Sorry, I like winter. I like snow. I don't like the cold, but I like the rest of it. Is that weird? Anyway, it's been snowing on and off almost all day, but it's freezing with the wind so that kind of put a damper on actually going outside. Pretty snow out my window ;D

I love winter, but I hate ice because of how horribly impossible it make driving. I just can't drive on ice very well.
Today is alright I guess, it's had highs and lows, and it's only a little after 1 in the afternoon.
So we have a game in about 6 hours....that's too long. Lets get it started!
I have a headache though, so that's not good. I think it's because of my allergies. They've been bad this week.

Aw, poor Ty. I know about allergies. They suck.
My roommate and I went on a walk this morning for Heart awareness. It was something sponsered by some of the local hospitals, for a good cause, that sort of thing. Bright and early morning (well, cloudly and early, but still early) but it was good.
Now, I'm just working on some homework to keep up this week and that's about it really. Taking it pretty easy today. Easiest weekend I've had in a while actually, which is nice. I like not being bogged down with work for once.

I'm doing good. I started a new course at college this week. I had to do an Assessment exam on the first day and scored 91%. Me and the Tutor (I've had Jan on another course, she is brilliant where computers are concerned) expected me to score in the low to mid 80's, so that went well. On the second day, I finished Module 1 and took the Module exam and scored 87%, which was another really high score. Apparently, most people score in the 60's or 70's in the Module 1. So that's all good. Plus, I got the last dvd of the first season of Doctor Who, completing season 1, so I'm a real happy Bunny at the moment. ;D

Grats Seffy. Sounds like me in my AP Lit class, it's almost impossible to do well in C. Dardenne's class, and I have around a 92-94 average in there I believe. Yes Wile, allergies do suck. Big time. As I've gotten older, they've only gotten worse. =( I can only imagine how bad they'd be if I hadn't gotten in athletics and gotten my body into better shape to be able to deal with it, lol. I'm happy. I heard from Sam last night for the first time in about a week and a half Makes my day go around. In about 20 minutes I'll be off to church. I haven't gone in quite awhile and my friend reminded me, so I'm gonna go. (I usually forget it's even a Sunday or to set my alarm for it and stuff, and when I do remember, half the time I sleep in or get occupied doing something else first and don't go to church. Going today.) Yeah, I guess that's all I have to say here for now. EDIT: Oh yeah the game Friday, we lost 31-29, but we started out being down 21-0 because we played horrible first quarter, came back and decided we were gonna play football caught up and it was 27-28, them, we talk coach into doing a 2 point with like 2 1/2 minutes in the game. We get it, up 29-28, they get the ball, we hold them for 3 plays, but they get a pass interference or roughing the passer call one, i forget, with less than 2 minutes in the game, and a new set of downs. They get down to our 1 yard line, we hold them, they kick a field goal with about 25 seconds to go in the game, and win. =( With our like 20 seconds left after the kickoff, we couldn't manage to score (We've got a 4-5 yard at a time, ball-control, milk-the-clock offense, so 20 seconds isn't enough time to score. We tried to pass and break one that whole 20 seconds though.) So there's the summary of what you might need to know if you're interested, if not, oh well. =P

Well, overall it's been a good day, with the exception of almost having to beat the piss out of a guy. Thankfully, he wasn't as stupid as I thought he was going to be and it didn't come to that. However, if he runs his mouth tomorrow, I may very well not be so nice and take the first swing myself.
Otherwise, good day =) I finished my art project, I understood physics, and didn't have to do jack in Calculus because our teacher is the counselor and was moderating over the PSAT. =D.
Lets not forget that practice was easy today. Or that the cafeteria actually served a FIYAH lunch today. =D =D

Well, I got out of class early yesterday which was pretty sweet and then today i got out early 'cause the prof is at a conference so we only had to meet for a half hour for group work ... of course our group got the hardest thing and we couldn't figure it out so we sent the prof an email and asked if we're on the right track ... guess we'll find out.

Well....I'm doing So/So...good day but I'm stressed.
I got my acceptance letter from Faytteville yesterday, so I'm like super happy about that. However, I'm wigging out about scholarships and stuff, because my parents can't afford for me to go if I don't get them. And I'll be cuss worded if I'm going to be a failure and not go to college because of something stupid like money. I've worked too hard for that.
And I'm stressed because I have an AP Lit project where I have to find a poem and explicate it and relate it to a character analysis I did, and I had a hard enough time with her prompt for the character analysis (our AP Lit teacher is frickin crazy....)
Oh yes, we won Friday! 27-14. We wrecked another homecoming =D Second one this year, lol.
So stressed, but otherwise, just fine.

Weeeeeeelllllll, I just finished a paper, so that's good. I have to proof read it later or in the morning though, just to make sure it makes sense and all that 'cause my prof. is ultra picky about MLA format. Darn profs.
Other than that, not much going on. I'll be out of town next weekend for Fall Conference, which should be fun. Means I get to work on my writing, which reminds me, I have a story due on November 14th which I should start working on ... oh well.

Yeah, MLA is easy. I've been writing a paper for my AP Lit class, and I've also been putting it off all weekend, lol. I hate that class. Overall, I'm doing well. Nothing to complain about. We lost Friday, which puts us out of the playoffs =( I'm not unrealistic, we're fixing to get stomped this coming up week too. Pretty sure I just found the new target of my female persuits a few hours earlier as well Wish me luck, lol. I'll need it. Hmm....that's about all I can say I suppose. ~ Ty
